Demarcation Line Marking

Our customised floor marking is designed not only as functional and suitable for your operational requirements, but also as safety demarcation lines to protect your workforce, essential in today’s health and safety environment. Our line marking and stencilling services can accommodate almost any requirement including, walkways, forklift or other vehicle traffic routes, pallet lanes, hatching, basement parking, safety and general information signs, numbers and letters.

Epoxy Line Marking

Ideal for permanent application. Aliphatic acrylic polyurethane is a two part mixture, glossy tile-like, attractive topcoat, produces a smooth, slick and hard film which is readily cleaned. Has a very good resistance to splash and spillage of acids, alkalis and most solvents. It exhibits excellent resistance to splash and spillage of salts and water.

  • Excellent gloss and colour retention
  • Excellent weatherability
  • Excellent abrasion resistance
  • Excellent flexibility
Recommended as a finish coat for concrete surfaces where chemical resistance, toughness and weatherability are required. For excellent use in chemical processing, pulp and paper, petrochemical and similar demanding industrial floors.

Permanent Floor Tape

Warning, reflective stripes and solid colour tapes.

  • Extremely Durable
  • Withstands forklift traffic
  • Waterproof, oil, alkali and acid resistant
  • Self-adhesive PVC/Vinyl/Laminated Polyester

Removable Floor Tape

Ideal in lean environments where regular application and replacement of floor marking is crucial

  • Superior durability
  • High Visibility
  • Easy Application
  • Painless Removal

Anti-skid Tape

Helps to prevent slipping and falling on wet or slippery floors. The rugged polyester tape is adhesive backed and coated with thousands of particles of durable aluminium oxide grit. Also comes in a yellow and black stripped plastic to aid visibility

  • Bonds permanently to clean, dry floors
  • Adds traction to slippery steps
  • Works indoors or outdoors
  • Withstands grease and oil
  • Eliminates masking clean-up and drying time

Floor/Concrete Surface Preparation

All foreign matter must be completely removed from the concrete surface to be coated to ensure good bond or adherence. If it is not necessary to change the surface texture but only to remove contaminants, this may be done by brooming, air blast or vacuum cleaning. When only small areas are to be painted it may be convenient to use power hand tools such as wire brushes, sanders, chippers and grinders to clean the surface. On large areas it is more common to use sandblasting, water blasting, acid etching or scarifying. For best adherence of any coating, a concrete surface should be free of oils, waxes and greases and should not dust (that is, readily release powder when a finger is drawn over it). Traces of oil and grease can be removed by solvent wiping prior to applying acid. If a significant amount of oil or grease has been absorbed the surface should be scrubbed with detergent or trisodium phosphate solution. Steam cleaning may be required. For most coatings, we recommend and ensure the surface should has the texture of medium grade sandpaper.

Demarcation Line Removal

In addition to the installation of floor markings, we also offer removal of floor markings by either sand blasting, sanding or using chemical paint stripping. The method we use depends on the nature of site and condition of the markings to be removed. All our removal techniques are safe and some can be carried out around the ongoing operation.

Safety Signs

One of the best ways to visually communicate safety and informational messages is through the use of floor signage. Typically painted onto the floor, made from an industrial PVC or vinyl, these signs can use graphics and written text to relay information that is not obvious from floor lines and markings alone. These signs are often used for safety alerts, directional information, and marking resting locations for items such as trash cans, rolling toolboxes, and pallet jacks. The use of multiple high-impact floor signs throughout a facility or work area can greatly increase awareness to your message.

We are suppliers and installers of a variety of SABS approved workplace safety signs in adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. These include:

Informative signs:

fire extinguisher, location arrow, fire hose

General Information signs:

indicative of exit direction, medical aid kits

Mandatory signs:

presence of biohazard chemicals

Prohibition signs:

- indicative of prohibited items/activities in specific areas, no-smoking zones, no open flames, or no cellphones allowed

Warning signs:

indicative of danger, wet floors, electric shocks

Other signage:

custom information boards, billboards, made to specific customer requirements
